Most of our bracelets are strung on stretch cord, so they slip over your hand and sit comfortably on your wrist. A quick measurement before you order helps you pick the right fit.

How to measure your wrist

  • Wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, where you would wear a bracelet.
  • No tape measure? Use a strip of paper or a piece of string, mark where it meets, then measure it flat against a ruler.
  • Keep it snug but not tight. This number is your wrist size.
  • Measure twice to be sure.

Choosing your bracelet size

For a comfortable stretch bracelet, add about 1 to 1.5 cm (0.4 to 0.6 in) to your wrist size. Add a little less for a closer fit and a little more if you like it loose.

  • Wrist 14 to 15 cm (5.5 to 5.9 in): bracelet about 15.5 to 16 cm
  • Wrist 15 to 16 cm (5.9 to 6.3 in): bracelet about 16.5 to 17 cm
  • Wrist 16 to 17 cm (6.3 to 6.7 in): bracelet about 17.5 to 18 cm
  • Wrist 17 to 18 cm (6.7 to 7.1 in): bracelet about 18.5 to 19 cm

Bead size: 8 mm to 14 mm

Bead size changes the look and feel more than the fit.

  • 8 mm: light, delicate and easy to stack. Our most versatile size.
  • 10 mm: a little bolder, still comfortable for everyday wear.
  • 12 mm: a chunky, eye-catching look with more weight.
  • 14 mm: very bold and heavy. Best for larger wrists or a statement piece.

Bigger beads take up more room on the inside of the bracelet, so a bracelet with large beads can feel a little tighter than one with small beads at the same length. If you are between sizes and choosing 12 mm or 14 mm beads, go up.

Fit tips

  • Roll a stretch bracelet on and off rather than pulling it, so the cord lasts longer.
  • Take it off before swimming, showering or exercise.
  • Stacking several bracelets? Each one may feel slightly tighter, so leave a little extra room.
  • Natural stones vary, so each bead may differ a little in color and pattern.
